ACTIVITY 2.2 perspective sketching
*Unit 2.2 perspective sketching
1. What is vanishing point?
Answer: the point at which receding parallel lines viewed in perspective appear to converge.
2. Aside from the number of vanishing points, what is the difference between a one-point, two-point, and three-point perspective sketch.
Answer: One point perspective is when you have a object extending into space towards one vanishing point and with a two point perspective is when that box would be extending towards two vanishing point and last with the three point perspective is when all the sides of the box are extending towards vanishing points.
3. How does a perspective drawing differ from an isometric drawing of the same object? When would you use a perspective view in lieu of an isometric drawing?
Answer: The quick way to visualize this is to compare isometric and perspective drawing

ACTIVITY 2.3 glass box
*Unit 2.3 glass box
1. How do you determine the orientation of orthogonal projections in a multi-view drawing?
Answer: You use a conventional projection.
2. How would you describe the geometric relationship that exists between the adjacents views of a multi-view drawing?
Answer: Multiple views help describe each other. Their display of visible and hidden lines convoy what can and isn't seen.
3. Why is it important to lay out a multi-view sketch with points and construction lines before drawing object lines?
Answer: Corresponding points and construction lines help a draftsman.

ACTIVITY 2.4 multiview sketch
*Unit 2.4 Multi view sketch
1. What is the purpose of construction lines? Object lines?
Answer: Corresponding points and construction lines help a draftsman line-up the features so they correctly depict the object being drawn.
2. What is the purpose of hidden and center lines?
Answer: The purpose for both lines are to represent edges that they're not directly visible.
3. What type of pictorial is shown in the first representation in number 2? How can you tell?
Answer: Front view sketch because the representation is showing the front view of the sketch.
4. What type of pictorial is shown in number 6? how can you tell?
Answer: side view because the representation shows the side view of the picture.
5. Why would building professional, such as machinist and contractors, prefer multi-view drawings over pictorial drawings?
Answer: This helps the professionals gain a clearer idea of how to build the item.

ACTIVITY 2.5 sketching practice
*Unit 2.5 sketching practice
1. What is technical sketch? What is an artistic sketch? How are the two similar and how are they different?
Answer: Technical sketching is a formal and exact way of communicating data about shape, size and precision of physical objects. And with an artistic sketching it may show like nature drawings and show emotion. They are similar because with technical sketching it communicates data and with artistic sketching it shows emotion so they are both communicating something in there drawings.
2. How do you envision applying your sketching skills in other classes?
Answer: It helps a lot in digital arts because you draw a lot in that class and with this it helps me a lot.
3. How do you envision applying your sketching skills in college?
Answer: In college I will be studying more about engineering so that is gonna require me to sketch more in college.
4. How would you teach sketching to a student next year?
Answer: I would show them the power points Mr. Beatty was teaching us so they can learn as well.
